Brien was a baseball star. (I do not know about the basketball part. He did play for the Sultans.) He was drafted #7 overall by the Kansas City Athletics. He never made the majors. He was married to Brenda Lowery, Class of ’68.
I remember him as a guy who liked to tease me a lot. It was all in good fun.
